Private sessions in my home gym, a programme built for your body and your week, and the support to actually stick with it. Strength, fitness, posture, confidence. Built around whatever pace is right for you.

Mostly people who want to feel strong and capable again in a supported and private environment, with someone who pays attention.
You haven’t trained in years, or ever. We begin with how you move, build the basics properly, and make the gym feel like yours.
Muscle, bone density and balance matter more every year. Progressive strength work, sensibly loaded, keeps you doing the things you love.
Biomechanics-led coaching for tight hips, stiff backs and the cycle of “it’s fine until it isn’t”. Move better, train around it, get back out there.
I’ve had a lifelong passion for fitness and especially running. I believe fitness is more than exercise; it’s a lifestyle you build one small, repeatable habit at a time.
I coach one-to-one from my private home gym in Redbourn, St Albans, using evidence-based training and health coaching to help people lose weight, get stronger, move more freely and perform better, whatever their starting point. Every programme is bespoke, because every body and every week is different.
What you’ll get from me: honest feedback, a plan that respects your life, and someone in your corner between sessions as well as during them.
Simple on purpose. No contracts, no app full of workouts you’ll never do.
Up to 30 minutes on the phone or in person: what you want, what’s got in the way before, what your week looks like. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so.
A relaxed assessment of how you move, a short health questionnaire beforehand, and your first proper session. You leave with a plan and a regular slot.
Weekly sessions in the gym, short movement tasks at home, lifts and progress logged in your own account. We review and adjust as you change.
No membership, no waiting for a rack, no one watching. My home gym in Redbourn is fully equipped for strength and conditioning, and the only person in it is the one you’re training with.
Fran is a personable and knowledgeable personal trainer and a pleasure to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Fran is a great motivator! Our sessions are always enjoyable and I would thoroughly recommend her.
One-to-one sessions of 45 or 60 minutes, booked in blocks of five. Pay online when a block runs out: no joining fee, no contract, no direct debit. The first conversation is free.
Ask about availability →No, most people start with me precisely because they aren’t where they want to be. The first session is an assessment, and everything after that is pitched to you.
In my private gym at home in Redbourn, St Albans — a few minutes from Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead and Wheathampstead. It’s fully equipped with the kit you’ll need.
Most clients train with me once or twice a week at a regular slot, and do short home movement tasks in between. Consistency beats intensity: a weekly hour you actually keep does more than an ambitious plan you don’t.
Sessions are booked in blocks of five, paid online by card or Apple Pay when a block runs out — no contracts, no direct debits. Your account shows exactly what you have left.
Life happens. Ask through your account or just message me and we’ll find another slot. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged, as I’ll have kept that hour for you.
Often, yes. Everyone completes a short health questionnaire before we start, and if anything needs a conversation (or a word with your GP) we have it first. Posture, mobility and training around niggles is a big part of what I do.
Tell me a little about what you’re after and I’ll come back to you personally — usually the same day. Or skip the form:
